This paper studied the preparation and photocatalytic activity of nano-TiO2 photocatalyst supported on natural zeolite. Photocatalysis degradation of active black solution as photocatalysis function test and sunlight or UV-light as light resource, the preparation condition, effect factors on its catalysis activity and supported photocatalyst's reuse ability were explored. The capability of catalyst was evaluated by decoloring rate of active black solution. The samples of nano-TiO2/zeolite were characterized by XRD, specific surface area and TG-DTA. The results show that nano-TiO2/zeolite catalyst prepared by combination of tetrabutyl titanate and natural zeolite dried at 110¡æ for 4 hours then calcinated at 200¡æ has the best photocatalysis activity. Zeolite's adsorption for organic substrates may be responsible for enhancement of photocatalytic activity of supported nano-TiO2. The photocatalyst has reuse ability irradiated by UV-light or sunlight. The nano-TiO2/zeolite photocatalyst is stable, low cost, high photocatalytic efficiency and extensive application. |
